I’m a multimedia journalist, currently working at gal-dem as the first person and opinions editor. I’m a columnist for The Face, where I write about climate change weekly. Currently I host a bi-weekly podcast called Broccoli Book Club, which is all about reading books that are good for you. I also freelance as a writer, specialising in reported features and opinion on digital culture, popular culture, lifestyle and sometimes politics. I was the host of the award-winning podcast Your Broccoli Weekly.

I write for a variety of exciting publications and media outlets, including VICE, The Face, MEL Magazine, i-D, DAZED, Huck Magazine, The Calvert Journal, gal-dem, Cosmopolitan, Refinery29, Bustle, The Independent, inews, Stylist, and more.

I often appear on radio as well as television to discuss and debate contemporary issues.

I was born in Uzbekistan and moved to the UK at the age of 10. I’m a native speaker of Russian and Uzbek (although the latter is very rusty.) I also hold a History of Art degree from the University of Warwick.
